The last video from the charitable group Omaze and the cast and crew of ‘Star Trek Beyond’ featured new addition to the cast, Idris Elba (rumored to be playing a villainous role this time around) showing off his dance moves while we were treated to a walk through of the Enterprise set. Unfortunately, the new video does not feature any dancing, but it is helping promote numerous charities, with each $10 donation by a fan entering the donor for a chance to win a walk-on role in ‘Star Trek Beyond.’

The video features Scotty and Chekov (aka Simon Pegg and Anton Yelchin) walking down the halls of the Enterprise describing the contest (with Yelchin holding onto a pet dog), as well as a brief visit to the arts and props department, where they show off what appears to be a tray of Vulcan ears being created, a massive alien head from the new movie, and various tech and equipment that will be used by the crew of the Enterprise in the new film.

For fans, the chance for a walk on role in ‘Star Trek Beyond,’ which is essentially the 50th anniversary film for the series, is especially exciting, as demonstrated by the woman who already won one of the five spots, and could not be more excited about the prospect of going to the set. And when combined with the charities that Omaze is supporting with the funds collected (Brave Beginnings, Camp Sunshine, Direct Relief International, Heaven Homes, KidsCan, Koreatown Youth And Community Center, Make-A-Wish, Time is Precious, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital), it seems very much a win win for any fan donating the cause.
