Saturday morning at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con certainly belonged to DC Comics. During the Warner Bros. panel in Hall H, they brought out the big guns with brand new trailers for ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Suicide Squad’ and the revelation of a Green Lantern Corps movie. And while those videos were released online shortly after the presentation ended (in one way or another), now you can check out what else happened when the Caped Crusader, the Man of Steel, and Task Force X took the stage at the Mecca of Pop Culture.

First, director David Ayer brought his ‘Suicide Squad’ cast to SDCC including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delivigne, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, and more (but minus the scene-stealing Jared Leto) for a quick hello before heading back to Toronto to resume shooting. You can check out the quick interaction below where the filmmaker exclaimed, “All the good vs. evil shit is played out. It’s time for bad vs. evil.”:

Then, the main event commenced when director Zack Snyder brought out ‘Dawn of Justice’ cast members Holly Hunter, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Jeremy Irons. Throughout the panel, we heard about the plethora of homages to ‘The Dark Knight Returns’, mentions of a Gotham City geographical change, and the challenges of portraying characters that have been onscreen before. In the video below, Affleck even shares former Batman Christian Bale’s advice to him for playing the Dark Knight:
