The Superstars and Divas of World Wrestling Entertainment are no strangers to evolution. After all, they all grow and change as their careers progress. At times they can be the most valiant heroes, but down the line they could be wronged in some way and be turned into the fiercest of villains. We’ve seen it time and again with people like CM Punk, Batista, and even The Rock. The latest wrestler to go through such a change right before the eyes of the WWE Universe is Sheamus, who went from a fun-loving Irishman to the brutal Celtic Warrior that picks on smaller competitors like Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan. But the Great White of the WWE is apparently evolving into something else as he makes his big screen debut in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’.

There have been various reports about which villains Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael will face in the sequel to the 2014 film starring the Heroes In A Half Shell. Though ‘The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift’ star Brian Tee has been confirmed as the new Shredder, rumors emerged about other villains such as Bebop, Rocksteady, and Krang being included as well. Though it’s still unclear whether we’ll see the tyrant from Dimension X in the movie, we can officially confirm that the two classic henchmen will indeed be included thanks to some recent pictures that surfaced courtesy of The Daily Mail. Though we don’t see them in their mutant forms yet, we can see ‘Malcolm In The Middle’ regular Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop and former WWE Champion Sheamus as Rocksteady. The one time King of the Ring went on to reveal the casting himself as well when he posted the following picture on his Twitter with his co-stars Williams and Tee (and Tee’s wife Mirelly Taylor):

Though this will mark Sheamus’ first major motion picture appearance, he does have some experience acting. Besides appearing on WWE’s weekly television shows and having a small role in Rupert Wyatt’s ‘The Escapist’, he guest starred on ‘Royal Pains’, which airs on the USA Network along with Monday Night Raw. The master of the Brogue Kick also portrayed Darth Vader in his home country of Ireland for ‘Star Wars’ promotional tours prior to his sports entertainment days, but that brief brush with the Dark Side doesn’t exactly prepare him for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ or anything like that. However, we’ll see if that prepared him at all for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

What do you think about WWE’s Sheamus playing Rocksteady in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’? Are you excited to see him try his hand at playing a mutated rhino? Or are you more excited to see if he wins the vacated Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber this Sunday night on the WWE Network? Let us know in the comments below.

‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ starring Brian Tee, Stephen Amell, Will Arnett, Brittany Ishibashi, and Megan Fox hits theaters on June 3, 2016.
