The end is nigh for Season 3 of the CW’s ‘Arrow,’ and despite some growing pains this season, it’s hard not to be enthralled at the current state of affairs in Starling City, as Oliver Queen has been transformed into Al Sah-Him, who has been tasked with becoming the new Ras Al Ghul (and marrying the daughter of the current Ras), and then delivering a deadly bio-weapon to his home town, destroying it and everyone he loves. The hero has become the big bad, and while other shows have done similar things in the past (off the top of my head would be ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ where Willow becomes the dark villain at the end of Season 6), it was always “a” hero of the show, and not the main hero. The only thing standing between Starling City and complete destruction now is the remains of Team Arrow (Felicity, Diggle, Thea, and Laurel), who join forces with Malcolm Merlyn and Tatsu (aka DC Comics’ Katana, see photo above to check out her costume) to defend their city and to save Oliver Queen from his dark fate.

In the photos below, we get our first look at the wedding between Al Sah-Him and Nyssa Al Ghul, and in the trailer before that, we get scenes of what’s coming up in the final episodes of Season 3, with enough mysteries, action and drama to propel us through the last of the season and into Season 4. Check them out below!

Official episode description below:

“This Is Your Sword” – Oliver/Al Sah-him (Stephen Amell) finishes his training and is left with two final tasks to become the next Ra’s al Ghul. Ra’s (guest star Matt Nable) threatens Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) and delivers some shocking news. Meanwhile, Malcolm (John Barrowman) makes a surprising offer to Team Arrow and Thea (Willa Holland) goes to see Roy (Colton Haynes). Wendey Stanzler directed the episode with story by Erik Oleson and teleplay by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan.
