DC certainly made headlines this weekend with the leak and subsequent official release of the ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ trailer. However, DC Comics also managed to set a world record.
This past weekend thousands of DC fans across the globe took part in the DC Comics Super Hero World Record event. Cosplayers arrived at events in Australia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Spain, Italy, the UK, Brazil, and Mexico. In the US, events took place in Los Angeles as well as Plano, Illinois (the town that served as Smallville for the filming of ‘Man of Steel’).
In the next couple of days, Guinness will announce the official count of how many people participated.
For now, you can check out highlights on Twitter using the hashtag #DCWorldRecord.
