Members of the Clone Club should get ready to rejoice. In less than a month, ‘Orphan Black’ returns to BBC America for a third season and the good times are ready to keep rolling. After last season’s huge cliffhanger that involved the discovery of a whole army of male clones, things definitely aren’t slowing down for the incredible cast of characters mostly played by Tatiana Maslany. And now we have a new trailer to get us even more excited for next month’s season premiere.
Canada’s Space Channel recently unveiled a brand new trailer teasing a few glimpses at the upcoming third season of the award-winning sci-fi series. Throughout the video, you can see some of the things that are being said about the show and it’s star that frankly deserves even more praise than she’s getting. I mean, it’s kind of a travesty that Maslany hasn’t even been nominated for an Emmy after playing five unique roles and a ton of supporting roles on the same show, but I digress. In anticipation for the upcoming season premiere, check out the video below, followed by the synopsis for the first episode of the third season:
Sarah pursues the missing Helena who is held in a faraway compound. Sarah must use her wiles – and acting chops – to deter a Topside investigator who threatens the Leda sisters’ lives. Meanwhile, Cosima appears to be rebounding from her illness, while Alison and Donnie face newfound financial woes. But when the menace of Castor rears its head once more, Sarah and her entire family must come together to survive.
