Now that ‘Daredevil‘ has a trailer, it is time to take a look at Marvel’s second Netflix show ‘A.K.A. Jessica Jones‘! With principal photography having just started for the series in New York, we’ve got a couple shots of Krysten Ritter, our future Jessica Jones, on set! As we’re seeing early shots here, there is no guarantee these images will end up in the 13-episode series.
The series is being shot under the working title of ‘Violet’ and is the second of the four series that will lead up into ‘The Defenders‘ crossover. In ‘The Defenders’ we will see Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist brought together to form a superhero team. I can’t wait to see what evil in New York is going to cause the crossover, though I suspect it will involve the Kingpin. My follow up guess to that is he’ll be employing some supervillains when the series kicks off.
Much like early shots in ‘Daredevil’ there isn’t much action here as we’re getting the early lead in for the characters.
At this time it is only shots of Ritter in her casual clothes. No word yet on how much of a costume she’ll have in the series or when David Tennant will show up for filming of his role as Kilgrave.
