Great news to all of the fans of clones out there as ‘Orphan Black‘ has been renewed for a third season! That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, we are once more going to be able to see Tatiana Maslany (‘Eastern Promises’,’Diary of the Dead’) play Sarah Manning, Cosima Niehaus, Alison Hendrix, Beth Childs, Katja Obinger, Helena, and who knows what other characters they’ll throw at her to be! The series has been greenlit by BBC America for another 10 episodes that will start airing with a tentative Spring 2015 premiere. With high ratings that followed the trend of its second season premiere with 1.24 million viewers and numerous awards, it should come as no surprise that we’d be seeing more of this story which is clearly far from finished.

According to director Fawcett they put in motion “A lot of the things that we put in motion at the end of season two are obviously big story components going forward and new pieces to the puzzle,” he said at the time. “We believe in giving the audience answers, but we have our mysteries and we want to earn the answers. This is kind of a new aspect to the larger puzzle that is Orphan Black.”

Unlike some shows that like to drag every mystery on until the end of the series I like that we’ll be getting a ton of details here. Even if it opens up new mysteries at least they plan on giving us answers which I’m sure fans of the show can all enjoy!
