After it’s release in late 2013, ‘Frozen’ became a bona fide hit that racked up awards, spawned theme park attractions, and provided songs that have probably not left your head since you first heard them a million plays ago. But the one thing that we have yet to see is a sequel. Sure, there have been a few books and somewhat of a reimagining courtesy of ‘Once Upon A Time,’ but not a proper sequel that brought back together the Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven that we all fell in love with.

Well, that’s all about to change when Kenneth Branagh’s ‘Cinderella’ starring Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden, and Helena Bonham Carter hits theaters because an all-new short titled ‘Frozen Fever’ will accompany it. Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and featuring an original song from Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the short will reunite Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad as they reprise their roles in a story that finds the kingdom of Arendelle celebrating Anna’s birthday. However, it turns out that the cold might bother Elsa after all when she gets sick, except her symptoms are a bit different than everyone else’s. But you don’t have to take it from me. Thanks to Walt Disney Animation Studios, you can hear directly from Buck and Lee about their upcoming short in this behind the scenes featurette:

While all this sounds like an exciting new adventure featuring these beloved characters, you’ll have to wait until March to see the whole thing. But you can now get your first look at ‘Frozen Fever’ with a few pictures showing off how the birthday party is coming together. You can even see Elsa sporting a new dress that might be a reflection of the cold that she catches. Check that out that image and more below:

What do you think about the first look at ‘Frozen Fever’? Are you excited to visit Arendelle once more? Do you secretly hope that Jonathan Groff finally gets to sing in this short? And are you hoping that we see a feature length ‘Frozen’ sequel sooner rather than later? Let us know in the comments.

‘Frozen Fever’ will premiere in theaters with ‘Cinderella’ on March 13, 2015.
