Nintendo has announced that the upcoming ‘Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D’ will be releasing on February 13 and revealed two new gameplay videos.

Announced via Nintendo Direct, the remake of the classic Nintendo 64 ‘Legend of Zelda’ game will finally be making its way to store shelves this February much to the joy of fans. And with it, is a host of gameplay has also accompanied it.

Along with the game’s release date announcement comes two gameplay videos. The first video above showcases the updated cinematic moments of ‘Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D’, and even shows off some of the key characters featured in the game.

However, the second video below has series director Eiji Aonuma running players through an in-depth look the game’s early Clock Tower level showcasing the 3DS remake’s updated visuals, as well as showing how the system’s features come into play with the remake, such as the in-game map and inventory appearing on the bottom touch screen.

On top of all the news, Nintendo also revealed a special-edition New 3DS XL featuring a Majora’s Mask design that will also be arriving the day that ‘Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D’ launches. However, according to a flurry of constant updates on the system’s availability on Kotaku, it appears to be difficult to find seeing as retailers seem to be selling through their stock.  As of writing, the special-edition 3DS XL seems to be going for prices as high as $1,000 on eBay.

‘Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D’ is a remake of a game for Nintendo 64 originally released on October 26, 2000. It is the direct sequel to the iconic ‘Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’ and puts players in the role of Link once more as he searches for his departed fairy, Navi. Yet, his quest takes him to the land of Termina where he encounters a creature known as the Skull Kid who wears Majora’s Mask, a powerful ancient artifact that he uses to cause the moon to fall onto the land in three days. With this immense danger facing Termina, Link must find a way to prevent this from happening by traveling back in time to the beginning of those three days to rewrite history and save Termina from destruction.

‘Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D’ will be releasing for the Nintendo 3DS on February 13.
