CD Projekt RED has revealed artwork to be featured on the steel book cases for the Collector’s Edition of the upcoming open-world RPG ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.’

The artwork is done by StudioKxx, a graphic designer and illustrator who has done a few videogame-related pieces in the past. Though, from the look of his pieces for ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,’ it’s pretty clear to see that the guy has some serious chops in terms of his abilities.

There are about six renditions in all, meaning that gamers looking to nab the Collector’s Edition of the game may have to do some extra work if they hope to obtain each different steel book case. But for what it’s worth, having one may seem like enough given the quality of all the pieces available.

‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ is the newest installment in the long-running action RPG series that puts players once again in the shoes of Geralt of Rivia as he embarks on a personal quest that has him facing against a mysterious and otherworldly rampaging army known as the Wild Hunt.

For the first time in the franchise’s history, ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ is taking a step away from the linear formula of past entries by instead focusing on a more open-world game structure. CD Projekt RED promises that the game will have hundreds of intractable objects as well as navigation spanning across different forms of transport such as horses and even boats.

Initially set for release on February 24 after a delay, yet another delay pushed ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ to release on May 19 instead in order to assure the game’s quality and make sure that its technical issues are addressed.

‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ is coming out on May 19 for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
