Mondo Goes Big
The team over at Mondo has big news for collectors everywhere! They’ve got new 1:6th scale figure lines coming from two of the most popular brands that action figure aisles have ever seen!
As if a whole new series of Filmation styled ‘Masters Of The Universe’ figures wasn’t enough for you, the team over at Mondo had to go and blow that away with their recent reveal of a 1:6th scale series of ‘Masters Of The Universe’ figures! While the details are scarce at the moment, Mondo took the opportunity to announce this all new 1:6th scale series of ‘MOTU’ figures during their annual convention, ‘Mondo Con’, which took place this past weekend in Austin, Texas.
Aside from ‘Masters Of The Universe’, Mondo also announced they will be doing a 1:6th scale line based on the iconic ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ as well! Unfortunately no previews of that line have been shown yet.

Bloodshot Is Back In Style
While many of you may remember ‘Bloodshot’ from the 1990’s Valiant comic book of the same name, most of you probably don’t realize that both Valiant and ‘Bloodshot’ have made a major comeback in recent years! Now, thanks to the crew at CKRT Lab they are gunning for your toy collection with an all new NYCC Exclusive ‘Bloodshot’ vinyl figure! This figure is a followup to last year’s NYCC Exclusive vinyl figure of Valiant Comic’s ‘X-O Manowar’, and would make a great companion piece for any Valiant fans! This stylized figure stands at 5.5 inches tall and features 6 points of articulation! He also includes a special 3 firearm accessory set to bring ‘Bloodshot’ to life in your display!

Are You Ready To Build The Tardis?
The time has finally come! The wibbly-wobbly time where ‘Doctor Who’ fans all across the globe can finally build their very own Tardis! Well, kind of, if you count LEGOs. Fans of ‘Doctor Who’ and the LEGO brand are rejoicing with the official reveal of the first ever ‘Doctor Who’ LEGO set! The set, which was fan-created through the LEGO Ideas program, is set to release in early December and will include both the interior and exterior of The Tardis, as well as LEGO minifigures of The Twelth Doctor, The Eleventh Doctor, Clara Oswald, a Weeping Angel, and x2 Daleks! The full release for the LEGO set is below-
Construct a stunningly detailed LEGO® version of the iconic TARDIS® and role-play the Doctor’s time-travel adventures! Created by fan-designer Andrew Clark and selected by LEGO Ideas members, this set is based on the BBC’s popular and long-running television series about a Time Lord – the Doctor – exploring the universe in a blue police box. Due to trans-dimensional engineering, the TARDIS is bigger on the inside than the outside and this cool multifunctional set includes the console room that houses all the flight controls. Regenerate the Doctor and defeat the evil Daleks™ and a Weeping Angel with the help of his extraordinary companion Clara. Then close the doors of the TARDIS and launch into another dimension! Includes 4 minifigures with assorted accessory elements: the Eleventh Doctor, the Twelfth Doctor, Clara Oswald and a Weeping Angel, plus 2 Daleks™.
Fans can only hope that more ‘Doctor Who’ sets are scheduled for the future should this one sell well enough (as if there is any doubt that it will!). We can hope that at the very least LEGO releases a series of ‘Doctor Who’ minifigure packs to expand our cast of characters for The Tardis that we’re building, right?
‘I Can’t Shake Him!’
The team over at Hot Toys just knows how much we love our ‘army builder’ figures, and with the massive success of their 1:6th scale ‘Star Wars’ line, it comes as no surprise to see yet another Hot Toys 1:6th scale ‘army builder’ type of figure coming our way in the form of the First Order Tie Fighter Pilot! This new figure is based on the ‘First Order’ Tie Fighter Pilots as seen in the upcoming ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’! The figure itself is a slick black in color, and looks more like a Stormtrooper than the classic Tie Fighter Pilots of the original trilogy. Now if only we can find somewhere to put the as-yet-to-be-announced 1:6th scale Tie Fighter vehicle in our display…
Check out the full release from Hot Toys below-
The First Order has enlisted a wide range of troops to carry out its will across the galaxy in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Following the reveal of the First Order Snowtrooper, Hot Toys is continuing to expand the First Order army and is delighted to officially present the new streamline designed First Order TIE Pilot 1/6th scale collectible figure from the highly anticipated movie!
The skilled pilots of the First Order launch into combat aboard advanced fighter craft to hunt down enemy vessels and protect space around First Order installations and warships. The highly-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of First Order TIE Pilot in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It features an all new glossy black color designed TIE Pilot helmet and armor with life support system, meticulously tailored flight suit, detailed blaster pistol, and a hexagonal figure stand with the First Order’s emblem!
