There have been a ton of rumors concerning the upcoming plot of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII‘ and the latest centers directly on everyone’s favorite Jedi, Luke Skywalker. Early rumors have had Luke missing since the events of ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi‘ but this one mixes it up a little. Are you willing to potentially spoil what you’ll be seeing on the big screen when the movie comes out on December of 2015? If so, venture further and read where Luke has been all this time!

Still with me? Good! Who needs to be afraid of a what if spoiler right? It’s only half the fun of finding out what is new and original on the big screen. Yeah, I couldn’t wait either.

The reason for so many rumors, and so many being inconsistent, appears to stem from the original draft by Michael Arndt changing significantly to the one put together by J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan. Multiple sources seem to be chiming in that the following is going to be on screen though.

So the original rumor has had Luke missing for the entire thirty years since ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi’ came to a close. However, now it appears the first twenty of those years Luke was busy rebuilding the Jedi Order and he has only been missing for roughly the past ten years. However the missing might not be ominous that he has been captured or imprisoned.

How is that? Well, not only has Luke been rebuilding the jedi Order but he is in fact now more powerful than almost any Jedi before him. Great! That would make him hard to just capture. Well that was the upside, the downside is that disturbances in the Force and a temptation for him to join the Dark Side actually made Luke go into a self-imposed exile which is why he actually disappears. What is this lure from the Dark Side? Could it in fact be the rumor that we’ll see the return of Emperor Palpatine?

We’re not sure. All of the sources do agree on one thing though and that Luke goes to an old familiar stomping ground to get his head on straight. An old stomping ground where a certain short green Jedi master initially trained him in the ways of the force. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Luke’s heading to Dagobah. This is apparently where Han Solo and friends will end up tracking Luke to hand him his old lightsaber and get him back into the game.

So ladies and gentlemen do you think that will be a good way to reintroduce us to Skywalker? Does this rumor sound like it falls in with all of the other hints that we’ve been given so far? Share your thoughts below!
