HUGE SPOILER ALERT!!!  If you don’t want to know about ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ do NOT read any further!

The frequently accurate scoop-site Latino Review has seemingly scored another major scoop about ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ as well ‘Episode VIII’, and it involves the reveal of the mastermind pulling the strings of what’s left of the Empire, which was seemingly squashed in Episode VI, ‘Return of the Jedi’.

There were several major moments in Episode VI, including the deaths of the two major villains from the trilogy.

Or did that really happen?

The report states that two separate sources connected to the movie have flat-out stated that we’ll be seeing one of the villains in at least the next two movies.  This is something that was rumored earlier in the development of the new trilogy.

The sources apparently didn’t spill the beans about how this villain will have survived, but the rumored returning baddie is…

Emperor Palpatine.

While we already know that Adam Driver is playing a new villain in the films and there will surely be more, it will be revealed that The Emperor will be pulling strings in secret… just as he spent most of the original trilogy appearing in just a cameo in ‘Empire Strikes Back’ before stepping out from the shadows in ‘Jedi’.

Palpatine was seemingly killed by Anakin Skywalker (aka Darth Vader), who flung the Sith Lord off a balcony on the Death Star, sending him plummeting to his death.  There was even a big blue explosion.  And then on top of that , Lando blew the whole damn space station up, with no signs of anyone but Luke escaping (with Darth Vader’s dying body).

That would logically be the end for The Emperor.  But then again, he’s pretty powerful.  Is he strong enough to have somehow survived?

Do you think this is a good idea?  Are you looking forward to the return of the baddest of the bad?
