While we’ve already been introduced to some of those in District 13 for the upcoming ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,’ we now are going to meet some of the rebel warriors who will be fighting on the front lines. Now I do have to warn you here that I will mention a few subtle spoilers below for those who haven’t read the novels.

While we still have been getting these sets without Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen, I suspect that she’ll be getting a big promo in the near future as today’s cast members are the fighters and film crew that will be at her side. Film crew you may ask? Well, it makes sense if you read the books but if you haven’t, let’s just say that Katniss is going to continue having media coverage only this time by the rebels.

Pictured above, and of course you can click on each picture for a larger view, is Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Evan Ross as Messalla, Mahershala Ali as Boggs, Wes Chatham as Castor, and finally Elden Henson as Pollux. These are the folks who will be both safeguarding our hero as well as creating the propaganda with her that will be used to help sway opinion from the Capitol’s stranglehold over the other districts’ lives.

Are you looking forward to the next installment of ‘The Hunger Games’? If you read the book do you think the casting choices feel right for the new characters? Share your thoughts below and may the odds be ever in your favor.
