For everyone wanting to check out the upcoming ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ reboot we have 17 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage to share with you today. Sure many of the early rumors of the film had brought up views that the Turtles might be aliens and not everyone is happy with Shredder’s new look, but you can’t argue that Michael Bay knows how to make a summer blockbuster. Please note, I didn’t say a good film there, just a blockbuster.

This video was initially aired on the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Sports Awards and was hosted by Will Arnett and Megan Fox. In it, we get an extensive look at the ski slopes scene that has been featured in most of the trailers. Not only do we get to see more of that but we also get a good look at how the motion-capture was done for the film! It is an in-depth look at the motion-capture suits that the actors wore. While the Turtles themselves are being voiced by certain stars, the same stars are not behind the motion capture.

Take a look:

We also had a few cast members weighing in on the reboot as well as the weapons that are featured in the film. It is a pretty good behind-the-scenes clip and there is a good chance we’ll end up seeing that one on the eventual special features of the disc release.

Are you looking forward to the film? Are you expecting a throwback to the comics, movies, and TV series from the past or do you think this will just be a special effects extravaganza? Share your thoughts below!
