‘The Flash’ cast member Tom Cavanagh who plays scientist Harrison Wells, the head of S.T.A.R. Labs, hosts another featurette.  As evidenced in this new video, S.T.A.R. Labs will be taking a very hands-on approach to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) who gained super speed powers after an accident at the scientific facility on this past season of ‘Arrow’.

In addition to Cavanagh and Gustin, the short featurette also features Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Cailtin Snow and Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon.  We also get a glimpse of Barry’s new super speed powers (although he is out of uniform in this particular featurette).  The show also stars Candice Patton as Iris West, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West, John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen, Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen and will feature Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/The Arrow.

Here is the official plot synopsis:

After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

In the comics, both Cailtin Snow and Cisco Ramon come to possess super powers, Snow as the villainous Killer Frost and Ramon as fledgling hero Vibe.  With The Flash opening the door to super powers in the ‘Arrow’ universe, it’s possible that others will come to gain metahuman abilities.
