Not much is known about ‘Jurassic World,’ the fourth movie in the groundbreaking franchise, but we do know the plot centers around the original idea that John Hammond had in the first movie, of a “theme park” inhabited by dinosaurs.  In the new film, the idea has lost its pizzazz and the public is disinterested.  Chris Pratt (‘Guardians of the Galaxy’) plays Owen, a human entrusted with looking after these prehistoric beasts, while Bryce Dallas Howard plays a scientist responsible for creating these creatures.  And as with many Spielberg movies, children are included, one supposes in order that young viewers have someone to relate to.  In this case, the roles go to Nick Robinson (TV’s ‘Melissa & Joey’) and Ty Simpkins (‘Iron Man 3′, ‘Insidious’ 1 and 2).  It isn’t revealed yet how the younger characters are connected to the adults.

Director Collin Trevorrow is hoping to “deliver a fantastic cinematic adventure that blends elements of science-fiction, horror, action, and comedy, in order to come closer than previous sequels, to recapturing the magic of Steven Spielberg’s original ‘Jurassic Park’.”

The movie is currently in production, so obviously the CGI dinosaurs haven’t factored in yet, but there are some set photographs of the human cast in action.  You can view them below.

First is Chris Pratt as Owen:

Next there is Bryce Dallas Howard as Beth:

And finally, Nick Robinson as Zach and Ty Simpkins as Gray:

The movie also stars Jake Johnson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath and Lauren Lapkus and is slated to rampage into theaters on June 12th, 2015.
