Young fans, age 14 and up, between the grades of 9 and 12, who are making a difference in their communities may win a trip to the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ premier and a way to spread their humanitarian endeavors even further.

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Marvel Studios, Dolby Laboratories and Visa Signature have joined forces to launch the ‘Guardians of Good‘ campaign to find young people in the U.S. that are working to improve their communities in various ways.  Hopeful participants are invited to submit short films in which they explain how they are working to help others through service, science or innovation and to select various Peer Guides to learn from their successes.  The contest runs from June 11, 2014 through June 29, 2014.  The movie debuts on August 1st, 2014.

Ultimately, five winners will be selected.  Not only will winners fly to Hollywood to hit the red carpet at the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ premier, but they will attend the first ever ‘Guardians of Good Innovation & Service Summit’ on July 22nd at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank and will host a red carpet screening of the film in their own hometown (or nearby) at a Dolby® Atmos TM Theatre.
