Aside from the fact that they have noses, the trailer for ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles‘ has gained mostly positive feedback and the marketing machine has decided to release a set of amazingly styled posters! Aside from the release of these posters, we also have a few words from Megan Fox (‘Transformers’, ‘Jennifer’s Body’) and Will Arnett (‘Arrested Development’, ‘Jonah Hex’) about their roles in the film and on the movie in general. Nothing too spoiler filled here but just some fun information from Will, an unexpected detail about a first crush from Fox and some cool new footage from the film.

First up, lets take a look at those amazing visuals!

Now that is an awesome shot of Shredder, each of the four turtles, and one amazing group shot at the end! While the pop styled look in the last shot isn’t bad, I think I prefer the minimalist style used in the first five. Still, all are fun to see!

There are a lot of concerns about the film and how truthful it will stay to the source material. Michael Bay has proven that he has no problems living a little loose in the past with ‘Transformers,’ but since he is only on board as a producer and not a director with this film, we’ll just have to see. Still, in an interview with MTV, Arnett was able to weigh in on a couple of factors people had questions about pizza and Splinter! He said that there will be pizza in the film and when asked about the importance of the one rat to train them all he responded:

“Absolutely, Splinter is crucial. That all-wise giant rat is very important to the story. There is time in the sewers. There is time in the lair. There’s all of it. I think we’ve done a really good job in staying true to the mythology and then telling a new story, telling a new version.”

Short but sweet.

How about Fox’s take on April? Well for starters her hair color was brought up and apparently the show was a huge hit with her as a kid so she felt that it needed to play out properly on the big screen:

“We went through many shades of red, and then we toned it down to a deep auburn. But when they color time the movie it will be more red, FYI. They were my favorite movies as a kid. That was my thing. Way, way more so than ‘Star Wars’ or in later years, still more than ‘Lord of the Rings.’ It was always ‘Ninja Turtles.’ My first crush, and everyone thinks this is really weird, but little girls have crushes on animated characters, and my first crush was Michaelangelo. So I’m super excited.”

You can see the full interview with some cool new footage from the film below:

Well Fox is excited, how about the rest of you? Do you think that the new ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ is rounding out to be a fun film or are you afraid of what Bay has put together?
