When it comes to ‘Star Wars: Episode VII‘ everyone is clamoring to find out more details and now we have not a couple, but over 30 brand new set images and some speculation to share with you! We know the film is set in the future of the ‘Star Wars’ universe as some of the original cast members (Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher) are returning to reprise their roles as their older selves. Past that, we don’t know all that much about the plot quite yet. What we do know is that in the first video to promote the Star Wars: Force for Change campaign, it would appear that we we got a glimpse of a market place of Tatoonie. Now don’t quote me on this but I’m pretty sure this is what was being shot in Morocco.
So with Tatoonie fairly in our sights why are we revisiting it? As we ponder on that, I’m sure you’ll want to feast your eyes on the grabs from the set all courtesy of TMZ! Just click on the image below to take you to their site:
OK, wow! How about that giant creature right at the beginning? Not quite the sand dragon promised to us from the bones in the original trilogy, but I will by all means take it because, yes that looks pretty awesome to me! So at any rate I wonder what brings us back to this desert planet? Did the Sarlac Pit finally cough up an old set of armor? Is Luke in hiding and they suspect this might be where he is hanging out? Could Solo be trying to mix with his old crowd from being sick of being a Senator’s husband? There is a lot of routes they could go with this and I can’t wait to see what they do!
How about you? Do any of the set pictures stand out for you? Are you hoping to see we’ll be back on Tatoonie? Do you think we’ll get any references to either the original or the second trilogy while here? Share your thoughts below!
