Well, the long-delayed science fiction film ‘Snowpiercer is growing closer to a US release.  The film, directed by Bong Joon-Ho was released in his native country Korea and broke box-office records, but the US release has been hampered by distributors The Weinstein Company who wanted cuts made to the film and voice over narration added to the beginning and end to the movie.  After the director failed to deliver these changes, The Weinstein Company decided to release the movie as the creator originally intended.

The movie follows the last survivors of humanity after an attempt to reverse global warming encased the planet in ice.  The last survivors live on a train with a perpetual motion engine but are segregated into a caste system with some fortunate beings living in the front of the train and the lower class living in the back.  Eventually a revolt occurs with Chris Evans leading the rebel army.
