The latest trailer for CBS’s upcoming series ‘Extant‘ has over 2 minutes of new footage compared to the last trailer that was released and it is worth watching if you are interested in the show. In the latest clip we get to see elements from the original trailers expanded upon and find out a lot of new details on the show for those who have only been learning about it by video.
You’ll see more here of Berry’s character returning from her solo mission in space and finding out that she is with child. Not only is she with child, but the father is most likely alien or something else that we haven’t been made privy to yet. This trailer hints that we see an alien life form responsible and one that just appears on her single passenger ship and disappears later. Another fun fact you learn from this trailer (that we hinted at in the very first synopsis of the show) is that her current child is an android. Aliens and androids? Sounds like a complicated mixture for kids if you ask me!
For the first time since the very original synopsis I feel that we are getting a feel for what the show will be about in this trailer. I’m still on the fence as to if I think it’ll be interesting enough to capture my attention though.

Synopsis:
In a thrilling drama, Berry will play an astronaut who returns home from a year-long solo mission in space and tries to reconnect with her husband and son in their everyday life. Her experiences in space and home lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.
