The second season to Eli Roth’s horror drama ‘Hemlock Grove‘ is coming! For fans of the show make sure you circle July 11th, 2014 on your calendar (or type in on your smartphones) because that’s when you’ll have the entire second season of the series to fill your time with. Most people, however, will not probably end up watching the full 10 episode season when it hits the streaming site at 12:01 AM PT.

Did I say 10? That’s right! Netflix only ordered 10 episodes and not a full 13 run for the second season which could mean we may be seeing a switch to shorter seasons or that this might be a conclusion to the series.

So I’m not sure why they wasted the time or money on having that teaser created but I guess they wanted something to show over nothing. Still, the first 13 episodes were good enough to draw in support for a second season and hopefully the corners they cut on this promotional teaser aren’t a sign of what to expect from the upcoming season. Maybe they could have put some of the money to create this teaser into helping pay for another episode or some kind of, I don’t know, real advertising?

Take a look at it below followed by the synopsis for Season 2:

“Season 2 continues with the town coming to grips with the shocking massacre incurred by one of its deadliest creatures. Roman and Peter are now faced with new responsibilities and the realities that come with adulthood. Roman’s relationship with his mother (Janssen) is all but dead as he struggles with his unwanted Upir birthright and the disappearance of his sister, Shelley (Martin). Peter moves in with Destiny (Horn) and is forced to get a job after his mother is sent away. Meanwhile, in search of a new life, newcomer Miranda Cates (Madeline Brewer), embarks on Hemlock Grove with an unknowingly profound effect on Peter and Roman. And Norman (Scott), still reeling from the loss of his family, must face the harsh truths that are uncovered about those he still loves.”
