Similar to ‘Buffy’ and ‘Angel’, ‘Charmed’ is gearing up for a tenth season in comic book form. If you’re a fan of the series (and season 9), it’s time to get ready for October because new issues will be released.

‘Charmed’ will be published by Zenoscope Entertainment. Zenoscope is also responsible for the first 24 issues of Season 9 which ran from June 2010 to September of 2012. Season 10 will be edited by Paul Ruditis who penned the original comic series. The season 10 arc will be created by Zenoscope writer Pat Shand (‘Angel’, ‘Robyn Hood’). The art team has yet to be announced.

The editor-in-chief of Zenoscope, Ralph Tedesco, is thrilled to give fans a brand new storyline involving the Halliwell sisters:

“I’m so glad to announce this news. Charmed fans are an extremely rabid and loyal group. They write us all the time, asking about Season 10 since it’s been almost two years since the last issue was released. We’re happy to let them know that it’s been worth the wait – – we’re coming back with a brand new arc and a ton of surprises that we feel will absolutely satisfy hardcore Charmed fans, while also appealing to new readers.”

The first issue of Season 10 will debut at New York Comic Con on the weekend of October 9.
