Just when you thought Sony was nearing the end of revealing any more footage from the film ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, out comes yet another trailer for the movie!

Granted, this is an international trailer and the final one to boot (although, we have yet to get the final domestic trailer released here). It seems that the marketing overseas is a bit different than the one planned for the US. Here, you will see that the filmmakers make no secret that the Green Goblin has an important and key role in plot of the film alongside Electro (who is played by Jamie Foxx and who has been where the main villainous attention has been focused on) and the Rhino (played by Paul Giamatti who has really not gotten very much love in the marketing department).

While not a lot of new footage is exposed, the trailer does give a bit of perspective. Check it out below!

Also pretty cool is the newest poster for the film that was also recently released. Comic book fans may experience a déjà vu sensation when looking at it as the poster is an homage to the infamous issue #121 comic book cover. Is this a foretelling of what to expect in the film?  Check out the side by side comparison (you can click on the images to enlarge them):

Here in the US, we have another month until the film is released so expect to see more from Sony as the date inches near!

Synopsis:

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

Directed by Marc Webb, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Colm Feor and Paul Giamatti and will be swinging into U.S. theaters on May 2.
