Shooting is soon to begin on ‘Batman Vs. Superman‘ the follow-up to ‘Man of Steel‘.  We know that Israeli-born actress Gal Gadot will be portraying Wonder Woman, but we don’t know how large a role she has.  She has already described her workout regimen stating that she was practicing “Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords, jujutsu, Brazilian…1,000 and 1 things.”

A couple of days ago, Gadot, who many fans sniped was too skinny for the role, posted a selfie, showing her progress.

Now she has posted another selfie on Facebook with the caption “Selfi while standing on a ball. Now tell me this is not original! Good morning!!!”.

Mmmmm, okay girl.  Gadot doesn’t start shooting until May, so she has several months to bulk up further.  She’s off to a decent start.  As a stick figure myself, the slightest muscle enhancement is the biggest deal.  She’s getting there!

Gadot signed on for three DC movies as Wonder Woman, so obviously ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ (still not the official title) is first and presumably ‘Justice League’ will follow, what with rumors that Green Lantern and The Flash will pop up in this movie as well.  Will a solo ‘Wonder Woman’ movie follow?  We can only hope!

As a massive Wonder Woman fan, I wish Gadot nothing but the best.  I’m going to trust that she will look and act the part when she makes her debut which will apparently involve combat.  Wonder Woman kicked major butt in ‘Justice League: War’.  Can we expect the same of the live action version when this movie finally arrives in 2016?
