Ever since New York Comic Con, we have slowly but surely been introduced to the cast of the upcoming Disney XD animated series from Lucasfilm, ‘Star Wars Rebels’. It all started with the Inquisitor, the main villain of the series sent by Darth Vader to eliminate any and all remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Then, after the New Year, we were introduced to the loyal droid Chopper, the Jedi cowboy Kanan, the con artist Ezra, and the group’s resident alien Zed. Now, as the cast comes together, we finally have our first real look at the show.

About four months ago, an extremely short teaser for ‘Star Wars Rebels’ was released that basically just contained fifteen seconds of the usual fanfare and a logo. But now, the official ‘Star Wars’ YouTube Channel has shared a few more substantial teasers that even feature the first real footage the general public has seen of the upcoming show. You can see both brief spots titled ‘Spark’ and ‘Ignite’ below:

Sure, we didn’t get much more footage than before, but it’s definitely something, especially since we got a fairly good look at Ezra on the Outer Rim planet Lothal. If you were looking to learn more about the show set between Episodes III and IV, here’s a leaked poster of the full cast courtesy of Comic Book Movie, followed by the synopsis of the story:

‘Star Wars Rebels’ continues the epic tradition of the legendary ‘Star Wars’ saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures. It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. As the series begins, Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, ruling with an iron fist and ruining the lives of its people. But there are a select few who are brave enough to stand up against the endless Stormtroopers and TIE fighters of the Empire: the clever and motley crew of the starship Ghost. Together, this ragtag group will face threatening new villains, have thrilling adventures, and become heroes.
