After last week’s ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ penultimate thrilling closure, everyone wants to know “Who will be the next Supreme?” With only one episode left we’re finally closing in on being able to find out exactly who it’ll be! Today, to help tease things along, we’ve got 13 promo photos for the episode as the girls each have to try to complete the seven wonders.
Who will prevail? Who will die trying as so many have in the past? Personally I’d love for there to be a trick ending and the vision that Fiona’s daughter still comes to pass as she somehow ends up still alive, though I don’t truly suspect they would go that route.
This has been my favorite season of ‘American Horror Story’ to date and each has been better than the last! I don’t know how the fourth season can top this one. It’s going to be a shame when Jessica Lange (‘Big Fish’,’Cape Fear’) exits the show as this season has proven she is one of the best actresses you can find at the moment. Talk about a hell of a performance!
Almost as good has been Kathy Bate’s (‘Misery’,’Dolores Claiborne’) work as Madame Delphine LaLaurie as well as Angela Bassett (‘Malcolm X’,’Strange Days’) as Marie Laveau. I’d love to see them come back as well. Talk about a really great cast of women that they’ve put together here. As women are often overlooked as such strong characters in horror themed shows, it’s good to see it here played by such amazing women. Sure, the young witches all have their moments as well, but I can’t see how they are going to top what these three women have already done while leading up to the conclusion.
Personally I think that Taissa Farmiga’s (‘The Bling Ring’,’Mindscape’) Zoe Benson or Lily Rabe’s (‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′,’What Just Happened’) Misty Daywould be the best choice for a ‘good’ ending. This is ‘American Horror Story’, though, so I’m not quite convinced what we’ll end up seeing on screen is what one would expect!
