Batkid was probably one of the best feel-good news stories of 2013. For one special day in November, 5-year old Miles Scott became the Caped Crusader, fighting crime in San Francisco-turned-Gotham City.

For those who are not familiar with his story, Miles has been battling leukemia since he was 20 months old and the Make-A-Wish Foundation gave him a day that was not only poignant to him but to the hearts of everyone throughout the country. Batkid became an internet sensation prompting supporters to give him a movie trailer and even catching the attention of the cast of the CW show ‘Arrow‘ as they thanked him for a night off. The entire country watched as Batkid defeated the Riddler and the Penguin and made Gotham/San Francisco safe for citizens once again.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation put together a heartwarming video depicting Batkid’s big day. There’s some great footage of Batkid defeating the Riddler and getting the key to the city. Furthermore, there’s interviews with Miles’ parents, along with Batman himself. It’s definitely worth a watch. Take a look!
