Despite ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ slipping in the ratings since it’s debut on ABC, the first live action television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t down and out yet. In fact, the cast looks to be preparing for a fight in the latest clip for the next episode, titled ‘The Asset’.
The clip features Skye and Agent Ward as they begin the young hacker’s training to become a full-fledged S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Here, Ward starts to flex his muscles as the former (or still current?) Rising Tide member’s Supervising Officer as he has her hit the punching bag while imparts some valuable knowledge on his new pupil. When the brilliant scientist Dr. Franklin Hall is kidnapped, Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents must race against the clock to locate him. Skye is their only way in — pushing the team to their limits when the entire plan turns upside-down.
