With ‘Thor: The Dark World‘ hitting the theaters on November 8th, the full on media force is starting to really be released. This latest featurette gives both a recap of the current trailers for the film out as well as some great commentary from Chris Hemsworth (‘Thor‘) and Tom Hiddleston (‘The Avengers‘) talking about the relationship between Thor and fan favorite Loki within the upcoming film.

Check out the featurette below:

Much like ‘Iron Man 3‘ and ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,’ this film will be picking up right where ‘The Avengers’ left off. ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ will focus dealing with the aftermath of what happened during the battle of New York as Thor explores why Loki did what he did. It will also focus on how Thor needs his brother’s help to save Asgard and how they have the same goal but for different reasons with each trying to accomplish it in their own unique way.

Between you and me, everything I’ve been seeing simply has me more and more excited about the film. While it won’t have the team-up action of ‘The Avengers,’ I really feel that this will blow away the first film in terms of quality and be on par with the first ‘Iron Man’ for enjoyment factor. I guess we’ll find out in a couple of months.

‘Thor: The Dark World’ continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Directed by Alan Taylor, ‘Thor: The Dark World’ will be in theaters on November 8, 2013 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
