Fans attending the Marvel Studios panel in Hall H were definitely treated to some awesome surprises. Not only did the cast and crew of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ come by to say hi, but also Joss Whedon revealed the title of his next film, ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’. While the attendees went wild for those announcements, I think the most crowd pleasing moment came when a certain Asgardian interrupted Kevin Feige during the ‘Thor: The Dark World’ portion of the proceedings.

Rather than having Feige or moderator Chris Hardwick introduce the clip from the upcoming film featuring the God of Thunder, Tom Hiddleston crashed the party in full Loki garb and completely in character. Naturally, fans went wild for the villain and there were even times when the actor almost couldn’t keep his smiles hidden. And though he wasn’t the first actor to do this during this year’s con since Andrew Garfield appeared at the ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ panel in character, Hiddleston certainly did it better and received a far larger pop from the audience.
