Today, Marvel fans at San Diego Comic-Con looking forward to ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ will be treated to some surprises at the show’s panel, but the rest of us aren’t really left out! Well, we kind of are, but there’s still some new stuff from the show for us to check out while everyone is in line waiting to get into the panel.

Earlier this week, in addition to finally getting a premiere date for the new show, we received a few videos introducing us to some of Coulson’s team, but now the latest video gets us more acquainted with the world that they live in. Verizon Insider released an exclusive featurette for Joss Whedon’s return to the small screen that’s filled with tons of new footage and some new interviews from the director himself and the show’s star, Clark Gregg.

**Unfortunately, the video is not embeddable, so you’ll have to click on the image about to watch it. It’ll be worth the extra effort though, I swear.**

Sure, that may not compare to whatever Marvel Studios has planned at Comic-Con when executive producer Whedon and Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb take the stage and divulge some brand new info on the upcoming show, but it’s better than nothing. It’s not like they’ll get to see the pilot before us or anything… Right? RIGHT?!?!

Ugh… while you try to get that thought out of your head and in case you might have forgotten, here’s a brief synopsis detailing what the show is about:

“Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.”

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ starring Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Chloe Bennet, and Clark Gregg premieres on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 8:00pm on ABC.
