About six months ago, Marvel was set to release a limited edition box set of their films known as ‘Marvel’s Cinematic Universe: Phase One – Avengers Assembled Collection’. However, the release of the set was delayed due to an issue with the briefcase that was being replicated in the set. Because a German luggage company filed a lawsuit against the House of Ideas for using the design of Nick Fury’s briefcase without their permission, production was halted and fans had to wait a little bit longer for this awesome collection. There was even talk of this set not being released at all. But now the wait is over because the sets are en route to the customers who have purchased them.
This limited edition set contains all six movies from Marvel’s Phase One including ‘Iron Man’, ‘Iron Man 2’, ‘The Incredible Hulk’, ‘Thor’, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, and ‘The Avengers’, plus a bonus disc and various other goodies from all over the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all collected in a handy S.H.I.E.L.D. briefcase containing a replica of the Tesseract. Since a good amount of people couldn’t initially get their hands on one, Post76 was cool enough to share pictures of the set and all of it’s contents. You can see the plethora of pictures in the gallery below:
Seriously, if I had the money, I would’ve totally splurged on this set. After seeing all the cool things that come with it like Donald Blake’s drivers license, Iron Man sketches, Captain America trading cards, and so much more, it’s totally worth the value. Plus, did you see that exclusive artwork on the disc cases? Magnificent.
