With the new Superman film flying into theaters later this summer, promotion for Zack Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel’ has begun. Hot off the tails of some very positive advanced reviews, Warner Bros. is certainly pushing this one hardcore in many ways, including magazine spreads and movie theater concessions.

Thanks to Coming Soon, you can see the latest cast photo for ‘Man of Steel’ from the latest issue of Cinema Magazine at the top of this article featuring (from left to right) Antje Traue, Laurence Fishburne, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Ayelet Zurer, and Michael Shannon.

Additionally, you can check out the various cups and popcorn containers that will be used to advertise the film in theaters in order to hype up the release in June:

While the Henry Cavill cup topper may prove effective for the younger movie going crowd, I found this fan made advertisement online that may appeal to a wider audience. Too bad it’s not real because it would be one hell of a way to advertise yet another movie featuring Superman’s origin:

Since DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. have a lot riding on this film like the potential Justice League movie that doesn’t seem to be doing so well at the moment, expect much more advertising for ‘Man of Steel’ to be popping up in the near future. Until we see more, what do you think of the latest pieces of promotional material? Do you dig the popcorn bucket? Let us know in the comment section.

To learn more about the film, here’s the official synopsis for ‘Man of Steel’:

“In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twenty something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.”

‘Man of Steel’ starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni, and Diane Lane hits theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on June 14, 2013.
