Revenge is a dish best served cold, or in Kratos’ case, served with rage and a side of wrath, with brutality as a sweet dessert. God of War: Ascension is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 3 on March 12, and the new launch trailer gives an exciting look at the prequel story.
God of War: Ascension follows Kratos as he fights to break free from Ares’ control. The game is set ten years before the original God of War, shortly after Kratos accidentally kills his wife and child. Players will once again fight their way through massive environments and clever boss battles, while solving plenty of puzzles along the way.
For those of you itching to get a taste of Ascension, Sony has released a single-player demo that is available right now on PSN.
