‘Do No Harm’ is a new series that will debut on January 31st on NBC but you don’t have to wait until then to view the pilot episode because we have it here for you to see in its entirety!

The series is a modern retelling of the classic ‘Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde’ tale and has been described as a ‘House’ meets ‘Dexter’ kind of show.  NBC is hoping that they will have the same success with releasing the first episode before it airs like they did with ‘Grimm’ and ‘Revolution.’

In ‘Do No Harm,’ Steven Pasquale plays Dr. Jason Cole, a neurosurgeon by day who in the past has been taking a daily cocktail of drugs from keeping his alter ego, Ian Price, from appearing. See, Ian is a rather vicious sex-crazed monster of a man and doesn’t like not being able to be free. But Jason has now become immune to the cocktail’s effects and he can no longer control the inner demon inside him. Every night at 8:25 p.m. Jason is forced to transform into Ian and for the next 12 hours, it’s Ian who is in control as he tries to do any damage that will threaten Jason’s professional and personal life.

At the TCA press tour, executive producer David Schuler explained the conflict between the two personalities:

“Ian’s a little bit like a cat. The cat wants to play with that mouse. He doesn’t want to kill it because what fun would that be? So Ian’s going to do a lot of stuff to Jason. And then what’s great about  Jason’s character… Jason’s just as smart as Ian is and is sometimes two steps ahead of Ian, so there’s traps in place. There’s safeguards, there’s fail-safes. So it’s a constant cat and mouse chess game between the two of them. But Ian is not toothless. There’s a true danger to him. He’s truly menacing, and that’s why Jason’s character needs to get rid of him.”
