Mondays won’t be something to dread anymore as Syfy has brought back their Powerful Mondays programming block. What does that mean? It means the return of ‘Being Human’ and ‘Lost Girl’ and the premiere of the new show ‘Continuum! To get everyone excited about Mondays, Syfy has released promos for each show which we have for you to see!

The evening will start with the premiere of the new series ‘Continuum’ at 8PM/7C. Season 1 has already been shown in the UK and is currently filming its second season. Here’s a quick synopsis:

The time-traveling police drama Continuum stars Rachel Nichols (Star Trek, Criminal Minds) as Kiera Cameron, a cop from the future who finds herself trapped in the present day. When a group of fanatical terrorists escapes their planned execution in 2077 by vaulting back in time to 2012, they inadvertently sweep along Kiera, a dedicated City Protective Services officer.  With unexpected assistance from teen tech genius Alec Sadler, played by Erik Knudsen (Jericho, Scream 4), Kiera infiltrates the local police department and forms an uneasy alliance with her new partner, detective Carlos Fonnegra, portrayed by Victor Webster (Castle, Melrose Place). Though desperate to get back to her husband and son, Kiera concentrates on bringing down the terrorists before they change the course of history.

Right after ‘Continuum’ brings the Season 3 premiere of ‘Being Human’ at 9PM/8C. At the end of Season 2, our 3 roommates were in quite a conundrum. Sally was stuck in purgatory, Josh was contemplating on killing the man who could make him human again and Aidan not only lost his love but punished by the vampire leader Mother in a way that no vampire would ever want. Season 3 takes place 15 months later and the roommates now fact an interesting dilemma: Is it worth paying the price to being human?

To end the Monday evening off, ‘Lost Girl’ returns at 10PM/9C and while the gang was able to defeat the Garuda but at what price? Bo had to embrace her dark side to defeat this ancient baddie, but will she find that being bad is oh so good? The Fae gang will also have a new face hanging around in the form of Tasmin, a cop who has a little more going for her than meets the eye. Should Lauren be nervous?
