At the Marvel NOW: Join the ReEvolution panel at New York Comic Con, a number of new books premiering under the Marvel NOW! banner were discussed by creators such as Mark Waid (‘Indestructible Hulk’), Rick Remender (‘Uncanny Avengers’), and Kieron Gillen (‘Iron Man’), along with Nick Lowe, Tom Brevoort, and Arune Singh. Mostly, we were given more details of some books that were already announced, but there were a few new titles talked about as well, with one of the most interesting being the brand new team of Thunderbolts from the team of Daniel Way and Steve Dillon.

Led by the Red Hulk, General “Thunderbolt” Ross, the new team will include Venom, Deadpool, The Punisher, and Elektra. With a whole team of stone cold killers tracking down the bad guys, criminals better be on their toes because these heroes have no feelings of hesitation when it comes to maiming and killing when the situation calls for it. And even better yet, we’ll get to see how some of the most ruthless, badass characters in the entire Marvel Universe get along long enough to work together. In the words of Bruce Banner in ‘The Avengers’, “This isn’t a team, it’s a time bomb.” I for one am very excited to see the bomb go off.

In the video below, you can hear Marvel Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso discuss some of the things that we can expect from the new team of Thunderbolts:

Fans of the original team of Thunderbolts, ‘Dark Avengers’, ‘Uncanny X-Force’ or any of the heroes on this team’s roster should look into picking up the new ‘Thunderbolts’, which is set to hit the shelves in December.
