New ‘American Horror Story’ Trailer Takes You Inside The Asylum

Think life has driven you insane? Then you obviously haven’t seen what insanity really is until you watch this trailer for ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’.

This is the first of what is hoped to be many more trailers revealing episode footage from the series. While the ambiguous teasers of the last few months were mind boggling, I much prefer the more direct approach of showing the cast in character involved in the craziness of the asylum.

Jessica Lange plays what appears to be the stereotypical version of the stern Catholic nun as she chilling tells a patient, “Here you will repent for your sins to the only judge that matters,” as he is strapped in a bed with his eyes pried open.

And if you were wondering how sexy the series will be, just take a look at Adam Levine and Jenna Dewan as the newly wedded lovers who somehow end up at Briarcliff.

As the promo says, it’s a terrifying new tale of fear, lust and insanity, and I can hardly wait!

Episode 2.01 Synopsis:

“Welcome to Briarcliff”- Welcome to Briarcliff Manor, a notorious insane asylum which is home to the deranged serial killer Bloody Face. Lurking in the shadows of this “sanctuary of healing” are terrifying evils that blur the boundaries between reality and insanity.
