‘The Avengers’, ‘Prometheus’, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ have dominated the buildup to this year’s summer movie season, so it’s easy to forget that there are other big time movies coming out as well. Now with about two months until it’s release, Len Wiseman’s ‘Total Recall’ remake has started some viral marketing.

A few posters were spotted around Hollywood, California this week for Rekall, the fictional company where the characters in the movie can go to in order to have their dreams turned into real memories. At the bottom of the posters, which come to us courtesy of ComingSoon.net, the website WelcomeToRekall.com appears, and if you go to it, it leads you to a previously revealed viral site that will tell you about the “experience packages” available from the company AKA. It sends a pre-recorded call to your phone that ties into the movie.

After this synopsis of the movie, you can check out the posters below:

‘Total Recall’ is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story ‘We Can Remember It For You Wholesale’ by Philip K. Dick. Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid, even though he’s got a beautiful wife who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life – real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen, the leader of the free world – Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter to find the head of the underground resistance and stop Cohaagen. The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.

Opening in theaters on August 3rd, ‘Total Recall’ stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy, and John Cho.
