Up until now, we’ve only seen how badass Timur Bekmambetov’s new movie ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ looks. Not that I’m complaining or anything because I’m pretty stoked on the adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s historical supernatural thriller that presents one of the greatest presidents of the United States as a vampire slayer based on what we’ve been presented with already, but so far we’ve got more action and less story in the trailers. However, we now have a more plot-centric red band trailer from the movie, courtesy of Comic Book Movie.
Even though I say that this trailer is more plot-centric, that’s not to say that there isn’t a good amount of action still. The amount of vampire violence and bloodshed doesn’t decrease by any means, but rather, we get more of an idea of what the characters are like and what the story is that we’ll be investing in.

The Tim Burton-produced ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’, which will hit theaters in 2D and 3D on June 22nd, stars Benjamin Walker as Abraham Lincoln, Mary Elizabeth Winstead of ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World’ as Mary Todd Lincoln, Dominic Cooper of ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ as Henry Sturges, and the pilot of Serenity himself, Alan Tudyk, as Stephen A. Douglas, the political rival of Lincoln.
