After teasing audiences with clips, mini teaser trailers and photos, HBO finally released a full trailer for the upcoming season of ‘True Blood!’
There’s a lot of great footage in this trailer proving once again why ‘True Blood’ is so popular. What has some fans excited, however, is the addition of Christopher Meloni as the head of The Authority, a council made up of the most powerful vampires in existence. With Russell now let loose, Bill and Eric in a predicament, a possible Pam origin story and Tara’s fate left in question, season 5 looks like it may be shaping up to be one of the better seasons of the series.
With this being the last season that Alan Ball will be wearing the show runner hat (he’ll still be around as executive producer), many are hoping that the show creator’s final season will be one to remember. After a somewhat disappointing 4th season, some hope he will be able to bring the show back to its gory (I mean, glory) days before his exit. We’ll just have to wait and see when ‘True Blood’ returns on HBO on June 10th.
