We’ve been treated (more like teased) with clips of what’s to come on the HBO series ‘True Blood.’ Now we have a good look at the members of the Vampire Authority and some familiar faces who call Bon Temps their home as HBO has released 20 new photos from the upcoming season.
Led by former ‘Law & Order:SVU’ star Christopher Meloni, the Vampire Authority will be playing a key role this season going up against the new alliance of Bill and Eric. The Vampire Authority panel will consist of not only Meloni but also Carolyn Hennesy (‘General Hospital’, ‘Cougar Town’), Peter Mensah (‘The Incredible Hulk’, ‘Spartacus’), Lucy Griffiths (who will pay Nora, Eric’s sister, and is a double agent!), Jacob Hopkins and Christopher Heyerdahl (‘The Twilight Saga’, ‘Sanctuary‘). Below are the first looks of this ominous group:
And if you want to see the Authority in action, check out the newest teaser called ‘Vampyr.’ Looks like this group will definitely be bringing some trouble to the ‘True Blood’ group.

Also included in the released images are the new members who will be joining the show including Valentina Cervi as Salome, an ancient seductress, and Scott Foley (‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘The Unit’) as Patrick Devins. But of course no ‘True Blood’ photo gallery is complete without pictures of Sookie (Anna Paquin), Bill (Stephen Moyer), Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and most of the gang. Oddly, Tara (Rutina Wesley) is not in any of the photos that have been released and it makes us wonder what became of her considering what happened at the finale.
