Last Friday, 20th Century Fox held a press event at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum in Springfield, Illinois for journalists and bloggers to get a first look at the trailer and some behind the scenes footage for the movie ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.’ In attendance were Benjamin Walker (who plays the 16th president), director Timur Bekmambetov (‘Wanted’), producer Jim  Lemley, co-screenplay writer and author of the novel Seth Grahame-Smith and Tim Burton…well, Burton was there in virtual form.

In true Burton-esque style, Burton filmed a black and white intro for the event but not before outing Prince Charles as a werewolf (and if you are a ‘Doctor Who’ fan, you already know about this bit of trivia from the episode ‘Tooth and Claw’). The video actually worked well as a prologue since the movie, with its historical elements mashed up with the horrors of blood sucking vampires, seems like a film right up Burton’s alley.

We have the Burton video which you can watch after the jump, and since it was an intro for the movie trailer at the press event, it’s only fitting that we also incorporate the new international trailer for ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ which includes new footage not seen from the trailer released a couple days ago. Forget about the history books kids! Here’s the real cause of the civil war!
