Season two of ‘Being Human’ has started off with a bang, gaining 27% viewership in adults 18-49 and 35% in 25-54. With a 15% overall gain, it is no surprise that Syfy has renewed this series for a third season. The renewal comes with a 13 episode order.
President of Original Content Mark Stern has said “(Showrunners) Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke have taken this series to new heights this year and we’re excited to see where the third season will go.”An interesting fact is that the audience is 52% female, making ‘Being Human’ SyFy’s leading female viewed series to date.
‘Being Human’ is based off of a British television series of the same name. The series stars Sam Witwer of ‘The Mist’ as Aiden, a vampire, Meaghan Rath as Sally Malik, a ghost and Sam Huntington of ‘Fanboys’ as Josh, a werewolf. The three share a home together, trying to lead normal lives.
‘Being Human’ airs on Mondays at 9/8c on Syfy.
