Added to the cast of 'Vigilandia' are Lena Headey, Edwin Hodge, Adelaide Kane and Max Burkholder

With filming beginning next week, the casting for the movie ‘Vigilandia’ is under full swing. Last month it was announced that Ethan Hawke has taken on the lead male role of the film and now four more roles have been cast.

Playing opposite Hawke in the female lead role is Lena Headey who is best known for her role as Cersei Lannister in ‘Game of Thrones’ and as Sarah Conner in the Fox series ‘Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles.’ She can also been seen in the upcoming Judge Dredd movie ‘Dredd’ as the villainous Madeline ‘Ma-Ma’ Madrigal.

Also joining the cast is Edwin Hodge who has appeared in the television series ‘Invasion’ and the horror film ‘All the Boys Love Mandy Lane.’

Rounding off the casting news are Max Burkholder ( Max Braverman on NBC’s drama ‘Parenthood’) who will play Charlie and Australian actress Adelaide Kane (Tenaya in ‘Power Rangers: R.P.M.’) who will play Zoey.

James DeMonaco (‘The Negotiater’, ‘Skinwalkers’, ‘The Kill Point’) wrote the screenplay and will be directing the film. The plot of the movie is still being kept under wraps and it seems that the film is now being billed as a sci-fi thriller. Bloody Disgusting, however, has confirmed that it IS horror based.

With filming to begin on Feb. 13th, hopefully more details will be forthcoming.
