We’ve had a glut of footage and photos from the set of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. Up until now, the video footage has been hit-and-miss with a lot of shaky camerawork and no zoom, making it hard to see the action. Today, a new set video was leaked to the net from the Los Angeles set that rectifies the quality issue and delivers some great action!
In this video, over sixty Gotham City police cruisers are in a chase sequence with Batman on his Batpod. In another scene, the Batwing cruises above the police vehicles. There no sign of Catwoman or Bane in this video but it’s one of the best pieces of footage from the set thus far and really shows how epic this thing is going to be!
Awesome, right? I can’t wait to see how Nolan plans to top the comic movie brilliance that was ‘The Dark Knight’. Anne Hathaway (Catwoman) and Tom Hardy (Bane) have some big clown-sized villain shoes to fill if they’re going to top Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is directed by Christopher Nolan and comes out July 20, 2012 starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine.
