Charlie Hunnam goes from motorcyclist to fighting aliens in a new movie that’s currently in the works. According to Deadline, Charlie Hunnam is negotiating to star in director Guillermo del Toro’s (‘Hellboy’) ‘Pacific Rim’. So those who are used to seeing his tough image on ‘Sons of Anarchy’ as Jax Teller will more than likely appreciate his efforts in the protection of earth.
Mike Fleming from Deadline reports that ‘Pacific Rim’ “is set in a future where giant malevolent creatures threaten to destroy the earth, city by city. To combat its annihilation, the planet must band together and use highly advanced weapons technology to eradicate the growing threat. So once again, Hunnam will be kicking some ass.”
Well, if we’re going to have to face another alien-annihilation movie, I suppose the best person to star in it is Charlie Hunnam. With his no nonsense attitude and his tough-guy nature, he seems to fit the part perfectly. I just have to ask… haven’t we killed enough aliens over the course of film history?
